Below is information about the Club Combined Event for the various age groups. Your AGMs will have this information available in their age group folders as well.
Warm Up Starts: 8:15am.
Events Start: 8:20am.
Pack Up: All Age Groups.
U6 – Key Points
- All U6 athletes will compete in 3 events across the morning
- Events will include 100m, Long Jump and Discus (for boys) or Shot Put (for girls).
- All our U6 athletes will be presented with an achievement ribbon on the day immediately following the completion of their last event.
- The program does run a little longer – parents should plan on an 11am finish.

U7 to U8 – Key Points
- All athletes U7-U8 will compete in 4 events across the morning.
- Events will include 100m, Long Jump, Discus (boys) or Shot Put (girls) and a 400m which will be an un-laned event.
- All our U7 & U8 athletes will be presented with an achievement ribbon on the day immediately following the completion of their last event.
- The program does run a little longer – parents should plan on a midday finish.

U9 to U17 – Key Points
- All athletes U9 and up will compete in 5 events across the morning.
- Events will include 100m, Hurdles, Long Jump, Discus (boys) or Shot Put (girls) and the 800m.
- From the results of each event, athletes accumulate points. At the end of all the events, the top three scores in each age group will receive a medal.
- The program does run a little longer – parents should plan on a midday finish.

Alberta Youth Scoring Tables
